The missionaries are coming

 

Maseno is all up and raring to go getting prepared for the upcoming Mission conference on the 9th July – 16th July. The team led by Fr Elisha, Fr Jacob and Father Bishoy of Maseno, Fr Thomas of Kisumu and Fr Timothy  of Alego are working extremely hard to make sure that everything is in place.
Everything from the accommodation, the daily schedules, the workshops and the various services/outreach are being organised. But the main thing this conference and the time leading up to it needs is, the power of all your prayers.

Prayer meetings are being held in Maseno and Nairobi and in all Africa for this conference and we welcome you who are coming from afar to join us in this prayer mission. No matter how much physical preparation is done if it is not based on the foundation of prayer then it will come to no avail.
We need to all pray from now that God is preparing our hearts to receive daily from Him and to know intimately the plans He has for us on this mission trip, for His service here in Africa and back home.

Take some time to meditate on these words:  “So I sought a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…but I found no one” Ezekiel 22:30. The Lord is desperately seeking prayer warriors who will pray for His kingdom to come now and who will pray for the transformation of peoples’ lives, but who is willing to get up and be counted.
So are you ready to stand up and take up the prayer challenge, are you ready to be a fellow worker in the building of Gods’ Kingdom, well you know where it all begins.  “I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands…” 1 Timothy 2:8.
