Harvest Season Has Begun!
"Do you not say, 'There are still four months and [then] comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest”. (John 4:35) 
On the 6th June, a group of 20 young youth from the Church of St.George and St.Joseph in Montreal Canada has arrived to St.Mina’s monastery in Maseno with a spirit that revived the place. The group was very blessed to be here during the Pentecost and the theme of the mission trip was “Fall in Love with the Holy Spirit”. Bishop Paul, Abouna Elisha, Abouna Bishoy and Abouna Jacob gave all the sermons about the Holy Spirit. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (John 16:13).
Though they stayed for only two weeks but their visits to the prison, almost all the areas around Maseno, Bondo (Which is an hour away) and the market preaching made a huge difference to all the people they met. They revived and encouraged the whole congregation with their house visitations and fellowships. They also organized a huge orphans’ spiritual day that gathered more than 400 orphans from all around Maseno and they spent amazing time with the kids playing, singing and teaching them about the Lord.
