Saturday 24th July 2011 (orphan’s Day at Kalua)
God sent us a group of missionaries for different parts of the world to be with us and organize different spiritual activities to street children, orphans, mamas and babas. One of the great, fun and full of Christ days was Saturday the 24th July where the group organized an orphan's day in Kalua with around 100 orphans. They shared the bible with them, played with them and showed them the love of Christ. The group is around 15 young youth from the States, UK, UAE and Egypt.

Children are what God has always to be like and after seeing the love they gave me, I knew why. The kids were shy at first once the name of the Lord was mentioned, they went crazy. Jumping up and down in a chapel so simple they don’t have the basic ground or proper wall structure. I thought we are teaching them something but they taught us everything else.. Funny thing is I had more fun than they did. The simplicity of the Kids and their smiles contagious and God speaks through such hearts.
P.s I had a blast even though I’m new to knowing the God who He is :)

If you want to have a blast and put a smile on God’s face by making His children happy with a game, a story and a prayer then this is the place to lighten their hearts. Spending time with the kids will fill up your heart with peace like no other. They held my hands and they were jumping around me in a circle breaking down any fears that I wouldn’t make a good impression. I thought I will not be acceptable but their smiles made me feel accepted. Come and see for yourself!
